Mentors
Lyndsay Lewis

Lyndsay Lewis, Richmond Associate & CASE Europe Programme Manager Consultant

Lyndsay has over 25 years' experience of operating at a senior level within the HR arena. She supports boards and leadership teams by helping them get the most from their people and build robust talent management strategies, which meet the needs of the organisation.

Within the higher education sector Lyndsay has worked with the Universities of Oxford, King's College London. Cambridge and UCL. She was a part of the consultancy team who produced the HEFCE report: An emerging profession: The Higher Education Philanthropy Workforce. Having designed and launched the CASE Graduate Training Scheme she continues to be heavily involved in the programme through her role as a mentor. Lyndsay has wider experience of the not-for-profit sector through her previous work as an Associate Consultant with Richmond Associates Ltd.

Prior to working as a consultant Lyndsay held the position of Divisional Director at BBC Worldwide Ltd. where she headed up the Human Resources and Employee Development teams. Whilst at the BBC she implemented management development and change management programmes across the organisation.

Lyndsay is an experienced executive and career coach and has a particular interest in supporting individuals undergoing career transition.

Chris Murphy

Chris Murphy, Director of Development and Alumni Relations, Birkbeck, University of London
Graduate Trainee Mentor

Chris Murphy is director of development and alumni relations at Birkbeck, University of London. Chris moved to the higher education sector from the arts in January 2012 having previously been individual giving manager, then head of memberships at the National Theatre. Before joining the NT, Murphy spent three years at Richmond Associates where he recruited senior-level development staff to leading organisations in the higher education, arts and charity sectors.

Leigh Cleghorn

Leigh Cleghorn, Deputy Director, CASE Europe
Graduate Trainee Scheme Manager

Leigh joined CASE in 2011. As the Deputy Director she provides leadership and management of membership, research and operations within the Europe region of CASE. Prior to CASE she worked in recruitment for several years. Leigh has a BA in English literature and History from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. After graduating she worked as an event organiser within an English Language School in Wellington, New Zealand. Leigh relocated from New Zealand to the UK in 2004 and has lived and worked here ever since.
