Liz Hawkins is a professional arts administrator with over 25 years' experience in project management, programming and fundraising within the education and creative industries. She has worked with large and small-scale arts organisations, major universities and community organisations in the UK, North America and Australia. Liz started her career in the Development Office at Cornell University, spent 10 years as a professional actor and is currently the Director of Programming and Development at the Adelaide Festival Centre. She is currently a member of the CASE Asia-Pacific Board.

Simone Garske, Graduate Trainee Mentor

Simone Garske, CFRE
Director - Alumni and Development, Queensland University of Technology

Simone Garske has more than 20 years' experience in higher education advancement. As Director of the Alumni and Development at QUT, Simone is responsible for the strategic leadership of the university's alumni and philanthropy programs. Under Simone's leadership QUT's advancement portfolio has rapidly expanded, including the growth of the Learning Potential Fund into the largest equity scholarship program of its kind in Australia. She is currently a member of the CASE Asia-Pacific Board. Simone has a Bachelor of Business (Communication) and an MBA from QUT.
