CASE Asia-Pacific Graduate Trainee Program Application 2018/19

What you will benefit from this program:

This is a fixed-term contract and provides you with all-round training. You will be employed and working full-time at one of our partner institutions for the practical on-the-job training. You will enjoy support from CASE Asia-Pacific who will manage the program and provide the formal training and mentoring throughout the program. 

Duration of trainee program: 12 months (from 19 March 2018 to 18 March 2019)

Salary:  Approximately AUD55,000 per annum

Location: Brisbane/Melbourne/Perth/Canberra (Applicants must be willing to work in any of these locations depending on the host institution location assigned)

What we expect you to be:

You are a recent graduate/about to graduate/professional in early or mid-career, confident and creative with highly effective communication abilities with the ability to work in Australia. You are goal-oriented, possess excellent organizational skills, and work well in a team. You must be able to respond to the needs of a dynamic work environment to effectively progress through this program. Previous experience in fundraising is desirable but not essential. Candidates must be available to attend a week-long induction training program at the CASE Asia-Pacific Advancement Conference in Hong Kong (16 - 19 April 2018). There will also be a four-week secondment to another university during the program. 

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following basic eligibility criteria for the CASE Asia-Pacific Graduate Trainee Program 2018 -2019:

  1. Must be about to graduate or a recent graduate, early or mid-career professional
  2. Have a demonstrable interest in fundraising, campaigning or events management
  3. Must be eligible to work in Australia
  4. Must be willing to work in any of the specified regions in Australia

Overview of recruitment process:
  1. Applications: open August 2017
  2. Preliminary Interviews: October 2017
  3. Host institution final interviews will be held between October - November 2017
  4. Offers and contracts – December 2017 - January 2018
  5. Start at host institution: 19 March 2018
  6. Induction week: 16 April - 19 April 2018 in Hong Kong
