Senior Associate Director of Affinity Engagement and Signature Programs, Office Alumni Relations
Northeastern University

C. Hawkins, senior associate director of affinity engagement and signature programs in the Office of Alumni Relations at Northeastern University, leads a team of alumni relations professionals in the planning, coordinating and production of programming and events for young alumni, student and alumni affinity groups that develop and sustain a culture of engagement and a stronger alumni community. In his current role, he has reimagined Northeastern's student alumni association, which relaunched this spring.

Previously, he was the manager of student engagement at the University of North Carolina (UNC) General Alumni Association (GAA). During his time at the GAA, he managed the association's interactions with current students, and oversaw approximately 100 events each year. He was responsible for the 3,500-plus Student Alumni Association and was the adviser for the senior class, the Order of the Bell Tower (UNC's student ambassadors) and the UNC yearbook.

Hawkins has presented at several CASE and CASE ASAP conferences and has received numerous awards. He co-authored a chapter on membership models in Lasting Impressions, CASE's book on student advancement.

He earned a bachelor's degree in costume and graphic design at the University of North Carolina and earned a Certificate in Meeting and Event Planning at UNC-Charlotte. 


Stefanie Seslar

Stefanie Seslar
Assistant Director, Young Alumni
Yale College Alumni Fund

Stephanie Seslar is the assistant director of young alumni for Yale College Alumni Fund. Previously, she was the director of alumni relations at Albertus Magnus College where she started the Student Alumni Association in 2012 and served as its sole adviser. Since its inception, Albertus SAA has earned accolades both on and off campus, named Student Organization of the Year three times and earning Outstanding Emerging Organization by CASE ASAP District 1 in 2016. Most recently, it was awarded Outstanding Student Advancement Program in District 1 (2017) for the peer-to-peer giving campaign, "Change for Change." The organization's closed membership has grown from 19 to more than 40 students since its founding.

Seslar was named CASE District 1 Rising Star in 2016 and was recognized by CASE ASAP District 1 and at the Network Convention as Outstanding Adviser in 2016. She is an alumna of Roanoke College with a bachelor's degree in sociology and holds a master's degree in leadership from Albertus.

Sunny Eicholtz

Sunny Eicholtz
Coordinator, Student Engagement Programs, Ole Miss Alumni Association
University of Mississippi

Sunny Eicholtz serves as the coordinator for student engagement with the Ole Miss Alumni Association. In this role, she promotes the alumni association's brand on the Ole Miss Campus and works directly with undergraduate students. She serves as an adviser to the 120-member Student Alumni Council and the 900 and counting member Future Alumni Network. She also works directly with the Young Alumni Council to bridge the gap between graduation and the post-grad years.

Eicholtz graduated from the University of Mississippi with a master's degree in higher education and student personnel and a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in hospitality management.


Jordan Gonzales

Jordan Gonzales
Director of Alumni Engagement
University of Nebraska

Jordan Gonzales is the director of alumni engagement for the Nebraska Alumni Association. Previously, he served for three years as an award-winning young alumni and student engagement professional at the alumni association.

In his current role, Gonzales works closely with the alumni association's 90 chapters and corporate networks worldwide, the University of Nebraska Foundation, University of Nebraska-Lincoln administrators, the Young Alumni Academy, and campus community to encourage the active participation of alumni and friends with the university.

He began working for the alumni association in 2015 as an adviser for the Nebraska Student Alumni Association's 1,400 students and managed a variety of initiatives including the Nebraska Legends scholarship program and commencement.

Gonzales received his bachelor's degree in political science and history from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. As an undergraduate, he served as president of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Mortar Board Senior Honor Society, and was elected UNK student body president and student regent. He earned a master's degree in higher education administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He received the prestigious Council of Alumni Association Executives' Preo Fellowship at the age of 27 and currently serves as leadership council secretary for the 1,500-member Lincoln Young Professionals Group.


Lauren Hamilton

Lauren Hamilton
Assistant Director of Student and Recent Graduate Programs
Boise State University

Lauren Hamilton is the assistant director of student and recent graduate programs at Boise State University. Although she sports blue and orange at work, she bleeds silver and gold as a University of Idaho alumna. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in theatre arts, allowing her opportunities to work in costuming for some of the country's best regional theaters in Boise, Lake Tahoe, Cleveland, and Los Angeles. Following her cross-country adventures, she moved back to Moscow to work with the Alumni Office at the University of Idaho, building on her collegiate experiences with the office's student advancement programs. She moved back to Boise in 2015 to continue her work in alumni relations with Boise State University.

Since accepting her role at Boise State in 2015, Hamilton has created a recent graduate branding campaign for BOLD Graduates (Broncos of the Last Decade) and started the Boise State Student IMPACT Board, a student organization celebrating Boise State's school pride and traditions, student leadership development, and student philanthropy education. She is very excited about the Student IMPACT Board winning three CASE ASAP awards in their first year.

She is on the board for Treasure Valley Children's Theater, a nonprofit arts organization bringing live theater to young audiences in the Boise area. She is also the chair-elect for Boise Young Professionals, a 1,700-member young professional group sponsored by the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce and is looking forward to leading the organization as chair in 2019.


Colleen McGinn

Colleen McGinn
Director of Alumni Engagement
Fairfield University

Colleen McGinn is the director of alumni engagement at Fairfield University and has served as the Student Alumni Association adviser for the past 12 years. Fairfield SAA, which is an open-membership organization, hosts programs focused on alumni networking, professional/career development, community service, philanthropy education and school pride. SAA members also staff and often speak at university alumni and advancement events. Fairfield SAA works very closely with Fairfield's Senior Class Gift Committee and has been recognized on both a district and national CASE ASAP level as the proud recipients of ten CASE ASAP District 1 awards including two-time honors as Outstanding Organization (2011 and 2016). They are the proud recipient of a national Outstanding Organization Award at the 2016 CASE ASAP Network Convention. Fairfield SAA was also home to the 2016-18 CASE ASAP District 1 Representative - the first from Fairfield in SAA's history.

McGinn was recognized by CASE ASAP District 1 as an Outstanding Adviser in 2011 and 2015 and an Outstanding Adviser at the 2011 CASE ASAP Network Convention. She is a CASE ASAP alumna and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor's degree in communications.


Daniel Nugent

Daniel Nugent
Chief Development Officer and Executive Director
Stockton University Foundation

Dan Nugent joined Stockton University as chief development officer and executive director of the University Foundation in February, 2018. Prior to this role he spent nearly 15 years at Seton Hall University, lastly serving as assistant vice president of advancement services, campaign manager and interim assistant vice president of alumni relations.

In his time at Seton Hall, Nugent worked on a wide variety of projects aimed at increasing alumni and student engagement and philanthropic support. He founded the University's Student Alumni Association, which has garnered numerous awards and has led to many young professionals entering the field of advancement. He was also instrumental in creating True Blue, Seton Hall's award-winning constituent loyalty program, which led to significant increases in student philanthropy.

Nugent received his bachelor's degree in communications and master's degree in public administration from Seton Hall University.


Allison Toney

Allison Toney
Associate Director for Outreach and Engagement
Virginia Commonwealth University

Allison Toney joined the Virginia Commonwealth University Alumni team in December 2016 and serves as the associate director for outreach and engagement. In her role, she provides advisement to the student alumni association, Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow. Overall she provides student engagement opportunities as well as recent graduate initiatives that support the goals and mission of VCU Alumni.

She has previously worked in student affairs and holds her bachelor's degree and master's degree in education from Clemson University.
