Daniel Nugent

Daniel Nugent
Chief Development Officer and Executive Director
Stockton University Foundation

Dan Nugent joined Stockton University as chief development officer and executive director of the University Foundation in February, 2018. Prior to this role he spent nearly 15 years at Seton Hall University, lastly serving as assistant vice president of advancement services, campaign manager and interim assistant vice president of alumni relations.

In his time at Seton Hall, Nugent worked on a wide variety of projects aimed at increasing alumni and student engagement and philanthropic support. He founded the University's Student Alumni Association, which has garnered numerous awards and has led to many young professionals entering the field of advancement. He was also instrumental in creating True Blue, Seton Hall's award-winning constituent loyalty program, which led to significant increases in student philanthropy.

Nugent received his bachelor's degree in communications and master's degree in public administration from Seton Hall University.

Brian Gawor is a 20 year higher education veteran, and has worked in student affairs, recruitment, annual giving and major gifts. He now coordinates fundraising research for RNL, following the latest trends and industry data. He also hosts the Fundraising Voices podcast, available on Itunes, Stitcher and Spotify. He is completing his doctorate at Illinois State University.


Rebecca Cole Trump

Rutgers University Foundation

Rebecca Trump is the associate vice president of annual giving at the Rutgers University Foundation. She leads the university's central annual giving team, overseeing strategy for direct marketing, student philanthropy, crowdfunding, and special campaigns for alumni, students, parents and friends of Rutgers-New Brunswick, Camden, Newark, and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences.

Prior to joining Rutgers in 2017, she worked for the George Washington University, most recently as executive director of annual giving. Under her leadership, GW used innovative strategies to grow its donor base, including significant expansion of the senior class gift and student philanthropy education efforts.

Her 20-year career also includes positions in marketing and communications at the United Way and New York City Opera. Trump is an active member of the Annual Giving Directors Consortium and holds a bachelor's degree from Trinity College.

John Tatum Grice

John Tatum Grice

John Tatum Grice began his career in philanthropy as a student foundation member at Kansas State University, serving within the K-State Proud Student Campaign. This experience jump-started his passion for higher education philanthropy. Following graduation in 2012, he began his tenure in KSU Foundation's Annual Giving department, focused on direct mail, phonathon, student philanthropy and student life fundraising. In April of 2014, he accepted a role at the Oklahoma State University Foundation and is currently charged with developing student giving, young alumni programs and digital giving strategies.


John Hartman III

John is an energetic, driven, and high-performing development professional with a passion for connecting people with the philanthropic causes that are most important to them. As assistant director of development at the University of California San Diego, he leads a comprehensive program to educate and engage students and recent graduates on the impact of philanthropy. John is experienced in both fundraising and program development for higher education institutions and traditional non-profit organizations. After studying Political Science at the College of Charleston, John spent seven years in Alumni Relations and Annual Giving at his alma mater before relocating to San Diego, CA.


Nicholas Sena

Nicholas Sena
Executive Director of Development & Alumni Affairs
Stockton University

Nicholas Sena currently serves as the executive director of development and alumni affairs at Stockton University. He provides strategic direction and oversight of the fundraising and alumni affairs programs, including student and young alumni engagement and annual giving. Prior to Stockton, he worked in alumni relations at Seton Hall University.

His professional experience has been in higher education, serving for more than seven years in advancement. He graduated from Stockton University with a bachelor's degree in business management and from Seton Hall with a master's degree in public administration with a concentration in nonprofit management.


Stefanie Seslar

Stefanie Seslar
Director of Alumni and Donor Engagement
Albertus Magnus College

Stefanie Seslar, director of alumni relations at Albertus Magnus College, started the Student Alumni Association in 2012 and serves as its sole adviser. Since its inception, Albertus SAA has earned accolades both on and off campus, named Student Organization of the Year three times and earning Outstanding Emerging Organization by CASE ASAP District 1 in 2016. Most recently, it was awarded Outstanding Student Advancement Program in District 1 (2017) for the peer-to-peer giving campaign, "Change for Change." The organization's closed membership has grown from 19 to more than 40 students since its founding.

Seslar was named CASE District 1 Rising Star in 2016 and was recognized by CASE ASAP District 1 and at the Network Convention as Outstanding Adviser in 2016. She is an alumna of Roanoke College with a bachelor's degree in sociology and holds a master's degree in leadership from Albertus.
