Playing the leading role - Leadership Coaching and Development with the highly acclaimed Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA).

Being an effective and influential leader demands a range of skills far beyond technical knowledge or personality. It requires personal presence, outstanding communication skills and the ability to flex your leadership styles appropriately.

Our partner for this year's Leadership Forum is perfectly placed to help you more effectively play the leading role at your own institution. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) is a drama school in London and is one of the oldest and most prestigious drama schools in the world.

The session will enable you to realise the full potential of your body and voice when communicating; help overcome inhibitions when leading and to feel confident using a more natural and effective leadership style. The Forum will be highly practical and will include theatre-based exercises.

Leadership Forum - Fireside chat

The programme will close with an early evening drinks reception beginning at 17:45 and then will proceed to the invitation only ‘fireside chat' debate with high profile speakers. The topic will be ‘University identity' - what is it? Does it matter? How do you articulate it to students, staff, alumni and donors? Chatham House rules will apply. Last year this was a sell-out innovation.
