The CASE Europe Annual Conference 2015 is the perfect opportunity to network with old colleagues, meet fellow participants and speakers or make new contacts. Below are just a few of the networking activities and events for you to take part in during the conference week:

Welcome Drinks Reception at Manchester Cathedral
Tuesday 01 September

Join us to kick-start the conference in the beautiful Manchester Cathedral. The welcome reception is optional and is included in the conference price. Drinks and canapés will be served until 20.30.

Breakfast Roundtables
Wednesday 02, Thursday 03 September

Take part in these informal gatherings to discuss current topics in the profession, and share experiences and suggestions with other delegates.

Tuesday 01 - Thursday 03 September

See some of the best products and services available to higher education institutions and schools, talk to expert suppliers about your needs, and take a break with a game of table football or a relaxing manicure. Join exhibitors for an informal drinks reception after the conference on Wednesday 2 September where you can make contacts and network further.

Literature Exchange and Jobs Board

Bring your publications along to the literature exchange table, where you can exchange ideas and get inspiration for new concepts. Alternatively if you are looking for your next career move, the jobs board could help you land your next dream job!

Schools Drinks Reception
Wednesday 02 September

On Wednesday 02 September, the Schools Programme will close with an exclusive Schools Drinks Reception, an excellent opportunity to connect with colleagues and consolidate networks built up throughout the conference.

Gala Dinner
Thursday 03 September

Here is a chance for you to celebrate and unwind with your colleagues and other delegates after an intense week of learning. Join us for the gala dinner and drinks reception from 8pm until 2am - surprise entertainment to be announced in the coming months.

The CASE Europe Awards and Circle of Excellence Awards Ceremony will also be taking place on the last evening, so join us in celebrating the professional success of your colleagues and read more about the winners and winning projects here.

CASE Europe Annual Conference Twitter Competition

Showcase your creativity at the Conference by participating in the #CEAC15comp.

Entry is via Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #CEAC15Comp. There are five categories for entry:

  • Best Picture - Capture the essence of the Annual Conference in a single shot.
  • Best Short Film - Whether it's a Vine, Dubsmash or Beet, we're looking for the best video of the Annual Conference
  • Best Original Tweet - No #RTs here - we're looking for the tweet that says what the Annual Conference is all about (in 140 characters or less)
  • Best Comedy Tweet - Make us laugh (in 140 characters or less). Fail Whale impressions welcome.
  • Best Exhibitor Tweet - Get down to the exhibition and show the exhibitors some love. Bonus points for including their handle(s).

The competition is just a bit of fun and a chance for you to showcase your team whilst you're in Manchester. Winners will be announced at the end of the Conference.

Join the first ever CASE Europe Annual Conference Instameet* with Beth Astington, admissions and recruitment coordinator, University of Birmingham and @igersmcr, for this great opportunity to explore a new space, meet other people in a relaxed and informal way and get some great photos too.
