Request a VSE Account

A VSE account, which is separate from a CASE member account, is required to access the VSE survey. To request a VSE account, email the VSE staff. Include your institution name, city, and state, and your name, email address, and phone number. The VSE staff will email your login credentials. You can change the password to match your CASE member login if you wish.

If you already have a VSE account but have forgotten your password, email the VSE staff. 


Check into the Survey

If you have not yet checked into the survey to indicate your participation status, follow these steps to do so:

  • Go to vse.case.org.
  • Enter your VSE account user name and password. 
  • Go to the Surveys tab. Click "GO" beside the active (FY2018) survey.
  • In the blue Survey Status area, check "We will (or will not) complete the survey this year."
  • Click "OK" to confirm that you want to change the survey status.  

Survey Deadline

Mark the survey done by October 1, 2018 (higher education institutions) or November 1, 2018 (precollege institutions). To request a deadline extension, email the VSE staff. Include your institution name, city, and state, and the new deadline you are requesting.

Survey Schedule

June 26, 2018: The 2018 VSE survey opens for data input. Participants may also request to complete a prior year survey in which they did not participate.

October 1, 2018:
Survey deadline for higher education institutions.

November 1, 2018:
Survey deadline for precollege institutions.

To request a deadline extension, email the VSE staff. Include the institution's name, city, and state, your name and contact information, and the requested deadline extension date.

February 2019:
Official release of VSE 2018 survey results.
