ADVANCE has a new look
Get a preview of what you’ll hear at this year’s CASE V conference and find out other district news in the revamped CASE V ADVANCE. The summer issue is in the mail and can be viewed online.

Become part of the ‘Pride of CASE V’
It’s time to show and tell others about your work. Take part in the “Pride of CASE V.” The annual awards competition allows others to see how your best work compares to others. A little “hardware” on the wall doesn’t hurt with your constituents, either! Deadline to submit is July 15, 2006.

Know an outstanding leader?
Is your institution’s chief executive officer the best? Then nominate your leader for the 2006 Chief Executive Leadership Award. Winners will be recognized at the December conference. Deadline for nominations is July 15, 2006.

Interested in what’s going on in the district? There’s still time to blog in on these timely topics —
Alumni — Can committees actual accomplish something? At least one alumni association membership committee has. Share your committee accomplishments, or questions.
Communications — How are you connecting to students on campus? E-newsletters? Print? Face-to-face? Share what you have done to communicate to students effectively, or post your questions about what you can do.
Development — You’ve marketed to get millennials on campus. Now, how do you get them involved in fund raising? Share your success and ideas on what you’re doing.
Web — Have you used an electronic method to solicit alumni? Kenyon College (Gambier, Ohio) has and found success. Share similar success stories or find out what’s working.

Don’t forget: December conference
Mark your planner for CASE V’s 32nd Annual Conference “Exceeding Expectations” Dec. 10-12, 2006. Conference updates will be posted as plans are finalized.
