Category 11: Web Sites

Description

Grand Gold, Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards may be given for innovative Web sites or pages developed for any institutional use. Do not enter only your homepage for evaluation. Judges will only be looking at multi-page/layered sites or pages. If appropriate, you may also enter your site in Alumni Relations Programs: Creative use of Technology and New Media; Fundraising Programs: Technology Applications and Creative Use of New Media; Independent School Web-Based or Electronic HTML External Audience Periodicals; Web-Based or Electronic HTML External Audience Tabloids and Newsletters; or Web-Based or Electronic HTML Internal Audience Periodicals.

Important: All sites must be assessable to the public. Intranets and password-protected sites may be entered but only if passwords or mirror sites are provided. Should an entry win, entrants must agree to provide access to the site for up to two years.

Judging Criteria

Judges will evaluate your program on:

• Strategy;
• Content;
• Design/Navigation;
• Usability;
• Innovation;
• Understanding of target audience(s);
• Engineering and management;
• Budget and use of available resources;
• Plan to evaluate site; and
• Results

Entry Instructions

1. Submit your completed entry online to CASE. For this category only, you do not have to submit a hard copy of your entry to the judging location. When finished, be sure to click the "Record with CASE" button or your entry will not be able to be viewed by the judges.
2. Make sure the URL listed on your entry form is correct. Web sites that cannot be accessed using the submitted URL will be disqualified.
