Share Board Documents with CASE Members!
CASE is collecting documents related to foundation boards and alumni association boards (governing and advisory) to share with members on the CASE website.
Please share documents, URLs or other materials. Contributions are welcomed from 501(c)(3) foundations and associations, as well as those operating under a school, college or university.
Samples to share:
- Bylaws from boards and advisory groups
- Board roles, responsibilities, duties
- Advisory group roles, responsibilities, duties
- Individual board member responsibilities, duties / performance expectations / job descriptions (especially language about participation and/or giving)
- Nomination forms, materials, packets
- Selection criteria or matrices
- Orientation materials, packets
- Handbooks
- Assessment forms, plans, other documents
- Strategic / vision plans for the board or advisory group
- Committee documents
- Committee types and structure (especially finance, investment, audit, development, campaign and stewardship committees)
- Roles, responsibilities, expectations
- Chair and other officer responsibilities, duties / performance expectations / job descriptions
