The CASE Compensation Survey assists institutions, hiring managers and individuals in benchmarking salaries and benefits in the advancement disciplines. The 2012–2013 North American survey has recently closed. The results should be available to survey participants in April.
For the first time, CASE Europe fielded a European version of the salary survey in 2011. The 2012–2013 version of the survey has closed and the results will be available to survey participants in April.
CASE has conducted compensation studies for members since at least 1981. The survey is eligible for completion by active CASE members at educational institutions in Canada and the U.S.
We upgraded the CASE Compensation Survey in 2011 and released updated results in 2012. (The database will be refreshed annually in the first quarter.) The CASE Compensation Database includes dashboards that allow users to create graphics based upon self-selected criteria, such as discipline/primary function, institution type, enrollment size, geographic area, supervisory level and tenure. Following CASE's major overhaul of the salary survey instrument and data collection system, CASE Europe fielded a European version of the salary survey in 2011. Data presented in this report provide the broadest possible look at the results of the 2011–2012 CASE Europe Salary Survey to help identify patterns across the profession. The tables in the CASE Europe Salary Report portray multiple factors that strongly influence salary, such as years of experience, management responsibility, discipline and highest degree earned.
