Top Fundraising Community Colleges Honored

CASE has named 11 community colleges as recipients of its 2015 Educational Fundraising Awards, which recognize U.S. institutions for overall performance and improvement in educational fundraising programs.

The selection is based on data submitted to the Council for Aid to Education's annual Voluntary Support of Education survey. A CASE member institution is automatically eligible to receive an overall performance or overall improvement award provided it has participated in the VSE survey for the past three years.

This year, CASE recognized the following community colleges for overall performance:

  • Broome Community College (Binghamton, New York)
  • Clark College (Vancouver, Washington)
  • Northampton County Area Community College (Bethlehem, Pennsylvania)
  • Northern Wyoming Community College District (Sheridan, Wyoming)
  • Tyler Junior College (Tyler, Texas)
  • Wor-Wic Community College (Salisbury, Maryland)

And CASE recognized the following community colleges for overall improvement:

  • Clark College (Vancouver, Washington)
  • Gateway Community and Technical College (Florence, Kentucky)
  • Greenville Technical College (Greenville, South Carolina)
  • Lord Fairfax Community College (Warrenton, Virginia)
  • Vincennes University (Vincennes, Indiana)
  • Volunteer State Community College (Gallatin, Tennessee)
  • Wor-Wic Community College (Salisbury, Maryland)

In addition, CASE recognized Northern Wyoming Community College and Tyler Junior College for sustained excellence. These institutions have garnered a CASE Award for Educational Fundraising in either overall performance or overall improvement in three of the last five years.
