Community College Sessions, Speakers Sought for Summit

Plans are under way for the next Summit for Advancement Leaders, which takes place July 15-17, 2012, in Washington, D.C. The 2012 advisory team requests proposals for sessions relevant to community colleges for inclusion in the program.

Submit your concurrent session proposal and apply to become a presenter. The Summit combines today's hottest topics with examples of exceptional advancement practices. Presentations should be geared toward a senior-level audience with strategic content—not how-to lessons.

While fundraising topics are always needed, the advisory team welcomes proposals from these areas for concurrent session programming:

  • Communications
  • Marketing
  • Alumni relations
  • Community colleges

The 75-minute sessions will take place throughout the duration of the conference. Proposed sessions will be reviewed by the 2012 advisory team and rated on quality of session description, topic and speaker experience. Notification of acceptance into the Summit program will be in early February.
