Training and support for the Matched Funding Scheme for Voluntary Giving 2008-2011 (England)

CASE Europe was awarded a grant by the Higher Education Funding Council for England to provide an extensive and enhanced training and support programme for the institutions participating in the UK government's matched funding scheme for voluntary giving.

CASE will provide guidance to professional fundraisers working at all levels, including senior university managers and leaders, Vice-Chancellors and Deans.

The training will draw on support from experienced practitioners in the UK and worldwide. It will include:

  • Series of regional and national workshops
  • Conferences
  • Expert forums
  • Study visits
  • Scholarships
  • Networking opportunities
  • Online and in-person seminars

Scholarships are available for many CASE Europe events.

Matched Funding Online Resource Centre

CASE Europe has launched an online resource centre for matched funding participants. You will need to register and become a member of the site to be able to take advantage of its resources.

The site hosts useful:

  • Fundraising document templates (courtesy of a number of sources)
  • Articles on related fundraising topics
  • Details on upcoming fundraising training and matched funding events
  • Videos and podcasts of UK and international fundraising professionals
  • CASE Europe twitter feed
  • Discussions with other Matched Funding participants via a blog
  • HEFCE and CASE links and information as the scheme progresses

CASE Europe will keep this website up to date and update members as the scheme progresses.
