Congratulations to the 2012 Matched Funding Award winners!

The universities honoured at the Matched Funding Celebration, held on 3 May, have demonstrated growth in philanthropic income raised over the third and final year of the government-led matched funding scheme for voluntary giving. The scheme has helped these universities strengthen their fundraising activity and has created a strong foundation on which they will continue building in the future.
Here are the winners of the 2012 Matched Funding Awards:
- Tier 1: Rose Bruford College
- Tier 2: University of the West of England
- Tier 3: Guildhall School of Music and Drama
CASE Europe would also like to acknowledge the following universities for making significant and sustained progress in their fundraising efforts throughout the course of the Matched Funding Scheme (2008-2011):
- Tier 1: University of Huddersfield
- Tier 2: Institute of Education, University of London
- Tier 3: University of Sheffield

About the Matched Funding Scheme in England
CASE Europe was awarded a grant by the Higher Education Funding Council for England to provide an extensive and enhanced training and support programme for the institutions participating in the UK government's matched funding scheme for voluntary giving.
CASE provides guidance to professional fundraisers working at all levels, including senior university managers and leaders, vice-chancellors and deans.
The training will draw on support from experienced practitioners in the UK and worldwide. It will include:
- A series of regional and national workshops
- Conferences
- Expert forums
- Study visits
- Scholarships
- Networking opportunities
- Online and in-person seminars
Scholarships are available for many CASE Europe events.
