FAQ: Member Directory Help

I get a "no results found" message when I do a member directory search.

To start, try limiting your search using just "name" or "location" criteria. Be sure to spell out an institution's complete name (no acronyms or abbreviations). If you are a member with premier-level benefits and are using the advance search criteria, please note that search results will match to all criteria selected. Try selecting fewer criteria in your searches to return more results.


I click the search button but nothing appears to happen.

You must enter data in at least one name or location field to conduct a search.



I can't find my own record.

If you are at a member institution and logged in to the website, then you are listed in the online member directory. Try limiting your search using just name or location criteria. Be sure to spell out your institution's complete name (no acronyms or abbreviations).

If you are a member with premier-level benefits and are searching using advanced search criteria and you have not completed your member profile, your record will not appear until you have completed your profile (for example, you must select "alumni relations" as your primary area of responsibility in your member profile for you to appear in a search of members with alumni relations as their primary area of interest).


I can't find someone who I know is a CASE member.

What are the advanced search criteria?

Access to the advanced search features of the online member directory is a benefit of premier membership. Please note individual demographic criteria are self-selected by members who have completed their member profile. If a member has not completed a profile, he or she will not appear in the search results.


How can I use the membership directory?

Use it to find a colleague or find others with similar interests to you. However, the data listed in this member directory is the exclusive property of CASE. Any information provided via this directory may not be disclosed, duplicated, reproduced or transferred in whole or in part.


I don't want to be listed in the membership directory.
