CASE ASAP District VII

 Hello, District 7!

It has been very exciting jumping into the District Representative position, and I look forward to  getting to know all of you better and work with you over the course of the next few years.

The 2016 CASE ASAP Conference in Atlanta was the perfect introduction to the inner workings of CASE and the amazing staff and volunteers that keep the organization running. I loved seeing all of the District 7 spirit, and I am excited to continue this spirit in the coming year. The Atlanta conference broke last year's attendance record, with more than 830 participants. Congratulations to all of those from District 7 who won awards! A variety of students and advisers from District 7 presented at the conference on an array of topics. I hope everyone was able to share and receive a few new ideas to bring back to campuses across the region. My favorite part of the conference was the huge amount of networking and idea-sharing opportunities, and I hope to continue this throughout the year.

If you were unable to make it to Atlanta this year, I encourage you to attend the 2017 Conference, Aug. 3-5, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio. In the meantime, we will keep you updated for District 7 Conference plans. This year, we also have an exciting opportunity for students to get involved in their CASE ASAP District by becoming a member of the D7 District Cabinet. District Cabinet members will work closely with the District Representative to communicate CASE ASAP and student advancement opportunities throughout their individual states, and represent the District. Please download an application below.

Throughout the year, please feel free to contact me with questions or comments you may have. I am very accessible and love talking, so feel free to reach out for any reason. I look forward to getting to know more of you and working with you as I continue in my position as District Representative.

Sincerely,
Carol Foote
