Hello District I!
Our district was out in force as CASE ASAP traveled to the Gateway to the West for the 41st Annual Network Convention. Bryant University, Northeastern University and the University of Rhode Island all presented on numerous topics and brought to St. Louis the professionalism, spirit, and pride that our district is known for. I'm happy to report that Northeastern University's Courtney Cowell brought back the 2014 Outstanding Student Leader award! Congratulations, Courtney!
As we plan for the year, I'll be sharing details soon regarding the CASE ASAP District I Conference so please check back. I also strongly urge everyone to plan on participating in Student Engagement & Philanthropy Month in Feb. 2015! Select any date in Feb. and plan one or more activities that educates students on the importance of philanthropy while highlighting the important role they play in your institution. University of Rhode Island, Bryant University, Fairfield University, Nichols College and Boston University are among the many who will be participating! Register your organization today!
Finally, CASE ASAP 2015 District Award applications will be due on Friday, Dec.5, 2014. The online application form will be available shortly.
I am excited to hear what great programming the schools in District I are planning for the upcoming year. In addition, I encourage you all to take full advantage of your CASE ASAP membership. I hope you have a great semester. If I can be of assistance to your student advancement group, please let me know.
