It has been a pleasure getting to know my wonderful and enthusiastic district since assuming the position of your representative. A huge thank you to Barrett Jourdan for serving an incredible two years before passing the position to me.
There was such a strong District 1 representation at this year's CASE Conference for Student Advancement in Atlanta. We had 13 institutions with more than 40 students contributing to the record breaking 832 attendees. District 1 delegates presented seven sessions and took home two national awards. Congratulations to Stefanie Seslar from Albertus Magnus College for her Outstanding Adviser award and Fairfield University's Student Alumni Association for winning Outstanding Organization.
If you weren't able to attend, I hope to see you at the CASE ASAP District 1 Conference Feb. 4-5, 2017 hosted by Worcester Polytechnic Institute Student Alumni Society in Worcester, Massachusetts. (The registration link will be added to this page soon.)
December 2 is the deadline for the CASE ASAP 2017 District Awards. I would like to encourage all of our District 1 organizations to apply for awards. There are so many amazing individuals and organizations in our district that deserve to be recognized for their outstanding efforts.
I cannot stress enough that I am here as a resource for all of you. If you have any questions or ideas, please reach out to me. I would love to hear from all of you!
