Hello, D7!
It was great meeting many of you at the Network Convention in Indianapolis. Congratulations to our District 7 Network Award winners: University of Utah for Outstanding Tried and True Program, The MUSS; Chris McBride from Cal Poly Poly Reps for Outstanding Adviser; and University of California Davis for Outstanding Organization. Great job!
I encourage all of you to apply for district awards this year. The more awards we submit and win at the district level, the greater our chance of taking home International Network Awards next summer.
Next year marks the 40th anniversary of the Network Convention, Aug. 8–10, 2013, in New Orleans. It's never too early to start planning to attend. Also, mark your calendars for CASE ASAP's latest initiative: Student Engagement and Philanthropy Day. This event will take place February 28, 2013. On this day, we ask members to select one activity to do on their campus to promote student engagement in their institutions.
Have a great fall semester! Please don't hesitate to contact me throughout the year with any questions.
Sincerely,
Justine Ramos
