Hello, District 5,

I'm glad to be your District Representative for 2012–2014. After a fantastic time in Indianapolis for the Network Convention, many of us are now sharing our new knowledge to strengthen our groups. It's an exciting time for District 5!

Mark your calendars! Our 2013 District Conference will be held Feb. 22–23, 2013, and hosted by Michigan State University Student Foundation. If you have any questions regarding the conference, please contact adviser Dan DiMaggio at dimaggi2@msu.edu.

I also encourage you to consider applying for 2013 CASE ASAP District Awards. The deadline is Dec. 7, 2012.

University of Iowa S.T.A.T. Ambassadors Beat Cancer 5K (2011 District 5 Award Winner for Outstanding External Program)

Last September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the University of Iowa Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (S.T.A.T.) Ambassadors promoted cancer awareness and raised money for cancer research through its Beat Cancer 5k. Contact Leslie Prideaux for more information.
