Hello District 1!
The vibrant spirit of New Orleans was alive at the 40th Annual Network Convention as District I represented proudly. Nichols College, Northeastern University and the University of Rhode Island all presented on various progamming topics, truly embodying the professionalism, spirit and pride of our district.
We are gearing up for what is sure to be another great district conference hosted by Boston University. I strongly encourage you to nominate your organization, leaders and advisers for 2014 District Awards. The application deadline is Dec. 6, 2013.
Student Engagement and Philanthropy Day is Feb. 27, 2014. Please keep me up to date with what your school and student groups are planning so I can highlight your events in my monthly updates. This is a great opportunity to start or bring an event and tradition to your campus!
The deadline to apply to be the next District I Representative is Feb. 4, 2014. The term for the District Rep begins officially May 1, 2014, and will run for two full academic years. If you have any questions about this position, do not hesitate to contact me at email@example.com.
I look forward to hearing about the great programming that the schools in our district have planned. If you have any questions, please contact me. I hope everyone has a great year!
