Jennifer Golbeck

Jennifer Golbeck

Director of the Social Intelligence Lab, and associate professor, College of Information Studies, University of Maryland

Dr. Jennifer Golbeck is a computer scientist, director of the Social Intelligence Lab, and an associate professor in the College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research focuses on analyzing and computing with social media and creating usable privacy and security systems.

She writes for Slate and The Atlantic and frequently appears on NPR, including as a regular guest host for The Kojo Nnamdi Show.

Her TED talk was named one of the most powerful talks of 2014. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, a Bachelor of Science degree, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Chicago, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.     

  


Scott Zoldi

Scott Zoldi

Chief Analytics Officer, FICO

Scott Zoldi is Chief Analytics Officer at FICO responsible for the analytic development of FICO's product and technology solutions, including the FICOTM Falcon® Fraud Manager product which protects about two thirds of the world's payment card transactions from fraud.

While at FICO, Scott has been responsible for authoring 79 analytic patents with 38 patents granted and 41 in process. Scott is actively involved in the development of new analytic products utilizing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies, many of which leverage new streaming artificial intelligence innovations such as adaptive analytics, collaborative profiling, deep learning, and self-learning models. Scott is most recently focused on the applications of streaming self-learning analytics for real-time detection of Cyber Security attack and Money Laundering.

Scott serves on two boards of directors including Tech San Diego and Cyber Center of Excellence. Scott received his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Duke University.

Their negotiation methodology focuses on discovering the "Black Swans," small pieces of information that have a huge effect on an outcome. Chris and his team have helped companies secure and close better deals, save money, and solve internal communication problems.
