How do you get colleagues to open their emails, let alone their wallets? Should we be asking for money at a time when there are redundancies going on? How can we fit staff fundraising in on top of all the other things we have to do? How can a staff campaign help with fundraising from other audiences?
The Institute of Education has run a successful staff fundraising campaign for five years, with around 15 percent of its staff making a gift each year. In this session, we will look at some of the strategies that have worked well, some that haven't, and some that we plan to try in the future. We'll look at some of the benefits and pitfalls of fundraising from staff, and how to plan a campaign to suit your own context.
