Are We There Yet? Rethinking the Next 100 Years of Alumni Relations
As we celebrate 100 years of the profession, we  will reflect on the steady evolution of our efforts. At the core, we will still engage alumni with our institutions and each other. But, we'll reexamine some of the tried-and-true methods of our first century and ask what will continue to work— and what won't work—and discuss the questions have we not yet asked.

With your faculty, you and your fellow senior professionals, and members of the CASE Commission on Alumni Relations, will explore the following in a discussion seminar format:

  • Is loyalty enough in an era of rising tuition, globalization and disruptive technology?
  • Do the old tools like clubs, chapters, alumni dues and reunions still work?
  • If not, will social media, crowd-funding and virtual networks replace them?
  • How will we define alumni engagement and how can we measure it?
  • What does an effective alumni professional need in their personal toolkit

Join us in Boston as we look forward to what the next century, and the next decade, may hold for us.
