Mike Worley
Executive Director of Development for Regional Projects
Washington University in St. louis
Mike Worley started his career in higher education in athletics in 1989 and moved to advancement in 1998. He returned to Washington University in St. Louis in February, 2008 as the executive director of development for regional projects.
Previous to his return, Worley led the fundraising efforts for the College of Fine Arts and Communication at East Carolina University. Under his leadership, in his first year at East Carolina, the college secured the most resources in a single fiscal year, doubling the previous year. Preceding East Carolina, Worley served as a regional director at Washington University. He oversaw 50 strategic leadership volunteers in three key metropolitan areas while securing resources for eight different colleges. At Ohio University, he served as the associate executive director for the alumni association where he was responsible for most external operations including chapters, societies and government relations.
In 2000, Worley was selected for the National Outstanding Adviser of the Year award from CASE for his work with the Ohio Student Alumni Board. He served on the CASE Distrcit III conference committee and on the CASE District V conference planning committee for five years, finishing as the program chair. He also served one year on the CASE District V Board of Directors and as a faculty memner for the 2007 and 2008 CASE Regional Strategies conferences. Worley rejoined the CASE District V conference committee in 2008 and currently still serves.
Haylee Marshall
Assistant Director of Alumni Programs
University of Tennessee Alumni Association
Haylee Marshall joined the University of Tennessee Alumni Association as the assistant director of alumni programs in July 2007. Since being with the UTAA, she has helped oversee a revamp of the chapters and clubs program with implementation of a structured tier system and more emphasis on expectations and guidelines for the chapter volunteers. Prior to joining the UTAA, Marshall was the public relations coordinator for the University of Tennessee's athletic department, where she worked on major donor and lettermen events as well as creating and implementing media strategies.
Marshall received her bachelor's degree in journalism/public relations in 2006 and received a master's degree in public administration in 2010 from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has a wide variety of experience in the field of public relations working as an intern for the Tennessee Titans, East Tennessee Children's Hospital, and past Majority Leader Senator Bill Frist.
Anita B. Walton
Director of Alumni Relations
North Carolina Central University
Anita B. Walton serves as director of alumni relations at North Carolina Central University. Most recently, Walton was the homecoming and affinity reunion manager for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she has had a successful 18-year career. There, Walton budgeted and supervised the delivery of more than 500 programs, first in student affairs and then alumni relations.
At Chapel Hill, Walton has effectively managed a broad range of activities involving students, alumni and volunteers. She has served on teams recognized by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education in 1999, 2002, 2004 and 2007. She also has been the recipient of the CASE Affiliated Student Advancement Programs (CASE ASAP) District III Outstanding Adviser Award and currently serves on the district's board as the Opportunity and Equity chair.
Walton received her bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned a master's degree in higher-education administration with a concentration in student development from North Carolina State University.
