What Do Alumni Really Think?
To know what we should do for our alumni regionally, we must first understand them. What do they want from us? What motivates them? Exercise your thinking about alumni as we review results from the Alumni Attitude Study©, spanning nine years of alumni attitude research from over 120 universities and colleges. We will look in detail at what motivates alumni, how it changes for different types of institutions and how it differs between different regions of the country.
Keynote Speaker: Robert Shoss, Founder and President, Performance Enhancement Group, Ltd
3:15-4:30
The Rubber Meets the Road
Learn about what alumni think and how to translate attitudinal findings into action. Review how universities and colleges across the country have used attitudinal research to increase alumni engagement.

- Regional Strategies Nuts and Bolts
You can no longer get away with the beer-and-pretzel happy hours or meeting with the basketball coach twice a year to constitute a year's worth of programming. Not only does that not meet our mission-driven strategic plans, but it is lower on the priority list of a what's-in-it-for-me generation of alumni. Listen as faculty share their thoughts about the fundamentals of a 21st century regional program strategy.
- Advancement Partnership Model (repeated at 8:30 AM on Thursday)
You can't have one without the other! Without friends, how can you raise funds? Without funds, how can you have friends and fun? Learn how your peers work to synchronize fun-, friend- and fundraising to maximize achievement.
