IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Please review before you register

All participants are REQUIRED to bring their own laptop to the conference. This conference is a hands-on, writing intensive workshop and in our high-tech age, we no longer write, we type! So please remember this VERY important tool when you are packing.

Also, a working knowledge of your laptop is expected. If you are borrowing a laptop for the conference, please familiarize yourself with the equipment before you arrive. The less time you spend troubleshooting, the more time you can dedicate to your writing assignments and networking with the faculty and other attendees. Your laptop must have the ability to use a USB drive and must have Microsoft Word or writing/editing software that is compatible with Microsoft Word. You should also bring a USB drive for printing purposes (each room will be equipped with an extra one for you to use on-site if you do not have one). You will be using your laptop throughout the duration of the conference so make sure you have a power cord or a back-up battery.
