Whether you are new to fundraising or doing it for the first time in an educational context, this is a seminar for you. It will help you structure your approach to fundraising and offer you the opportunity to connect with colleagues who share the same issues.

Led by Becki McKinlay, deputy director, Annual Giving, University of Reading and Chris Gethin, director of development, University of Surrey. This seminar will help you:

  • Learn the principals of fundraising and the types of solicitation that may work at your institution
  • How to market your office and hone your skills as a fundraiser
  • Understand who gives to your institution, why they give and how to ask
