With diminishing reliance on state funding, universities are looking for alternative income streams. Sustainable philanthropy can provide a viable independent source of funds for the longer-term. The support of a university's council is vital to an institution's development and fundraising effort. This one day bespoke workshop will look at understanding the fundraising process, governors, trustees and council members can learn how they can support it.
