Structuring Cost Effective Gifts from Younger Donors
Approximately 25 percent of the U. S. population will pass the age of 65 over the coming twenty years. This group will be retiring in large numbers and moving into the time of life where they are planning for the ultimate disposition of a lifetime’s accumulation of assets. The life expectancies of these persons will be from 20 to 40 years or more so it is important to examine ways to structure gifts that provide benefits in the near term while meeting concerns that might otherwise preclude such gifts.

Learn which advisers are most influential in various situations and how their compensation and other factors naturally inform their advice. With wealth increasingly owned by widows who may depend heavily on advice of counsel and family members, it is important to learn to understand and respect the role of these persons.
