The tour will be led by Joanna Motion, Partner, More Partnership, whom 100% of 2011 attendees rated as ‘excellent' in terms of subject knowledge. Lorna Somers, Director of Development and Vice-President, McMaster University Foundation, will present to delegates and again 100% of attendees rated Lorna as an excellent contributor to the programme.

Key elements of the tour include:

• Briefing and introduction in Toronto;
• The Study Tour will focus on four institutions: McMaster University, The University of Waterloo, University of Toronto and Wilfrid Laurier University
• Access to key players and decision makers including: University Presidents, Deans, key volunteers, heads of advancement and their staff;
• Discussion with distinguished ‘advancement' professionals who combine experience in North America with an understanding of UK culture and context;
• Post-tour de-brief in London for review, analysis and evaluation. This meeting is available for tour participants plus an appropriate colleague.
