The Canadian experience of fundraising represents an especially useful model for Australian and European universities, given the shared history of public funding and the relatively short time scale over which Canadian universities have invested in development programmes.
The study tour will focus on four leading institutions all delivering successful, high-impact advancement programmes:
This is a high level and small-scale opportunity, aimed at Vice-Chancellors and DVCs/PVCs whose portfolio includes Development/Advancement plus Directors of Development. Spaces are strictly limited. The tour begins at 14.00 on May 7 in Toronto and ends on May 11 at 14.00. Delegates are asked to arrive by May 6.

Includes meals, accommodation and transfers while on the tour but excludes flight/transfers to and from Toronto as well as any cost associated with travel documents.
