FAQ: Online Speaker Series

How does the CASE Online Speaker Series work?

The event is live and interactive with opportunities to ask the presenter(s) questions. The audio portion is delivered over the telephone for reliable and clear sound quality. The visual information is delivered via the Internet.

CASE recommends that you use a speakerphone and a projection system in a conference room and invite as many staff members as you wish to participate in the seminar.

FOR INTERNATIONAL: The event is live and interactive with opportunities to ask the presenter(s) questions. The audio portion is delivered via streaming audio through your computer speakers. The visual information is delivered via the Internet.

How do I know if my computer is compatible with the Webinar technology?

The Webinar technology runs on Flash software, which is fairly standard on most computers. To test your computer prior to the event, direct your Web browser to the following URL: http://www.ec.commpartners.com/ and click on "Browser Test." If you pass the test, you will see a "Successful" message. If you do not pass the test, you will see a link to the site where you can download the most updated version of Flash at no charge. Once you have completed this download, you should take the browser test again. (It is not necessary to take the audio portion of the browser test.)

You may view this event using a PC or a Mac. For PC users, it is recommended that you use the Internet Explorer Web browser. If you are using a Mac, it is recommended that you use the Safari Web browser.
