If your institution or school is either planning a campaign or has already embarked on one, this Expert Forum is for you.
Led by Lorna Somers, vice president, McMaster University Foundation, and director of development, McMaster University, Canada and Ian Edwards, senior partner, More Partnership.
Senior members of a team that is either in campaign or at an institution/school that is planning to launch a campaign.
You will have the opportunity to spend a full day with Lorna and Ian who between them have over fifty years of combined experience, much of it spent preparing for and running campaigns, discovering that what seems like a sound concept isn't always as sensible in practice. They'll share best practices necessary for positioning your campaign for success as well as trends in campaign fundraising - both those that work and those that don't.
The framework for the day will include case studies, group work, surgeries and hot tips - in addition Lorna and Ian want to tailor the session to the specific needs of the participants, so will build the programme around your issues and questions.
They will draw together common themes to ensure that you leave the forum with as many of your questions answered and with a renewed sense of confidence to face your own challenges.
Whether you are launching a new campaign or in the midst of one, share tips and ideas with speakers and colleagues in this interactive forum which blends a discussion of principles and practice with answering your specific questions.
