Kirsty MacDonald is a fundraiser with over 18 years' experience in North America and the UK. She is currently at the University of Oxford, running a £50m campaign for Wadham College, and has also worked at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. Previously she has held positions at London Business School, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the English National Opera, and Glyndebourne. Kirsty holds a BA Honours degree from the University of Toronto.

Martin Kaufman is the Head of Development at the Museum of London, one of the world's great urban history museums, and a Senior Associate of Brakeley, the international major gift consultancy. After running campaigns for the UK's National Trust, London School of Economics, Architectural Association and Hackney Empire Theatre, he consulted at Brakeley for 10 years for 70 organisations in education, culture, healthcare and welfare, in Europe, Africa and Asia. He has seen at first hand the Good, the Bad and the Ugly in fundraising events, and is currently planning 12 events in 2010 - from a small dinner party to a large fundraising gala - to complete the £20.5m Capital City Campaign for the new Galleries of Modern London in the Museum. He has been a frequent speaker at CASE conferences, and is a world expert on the use of singing in the pedagogy of philanthropy.
