Session chairs and speakers

Ida Le Duc, Director of Corporate Relations, INSEAD

Ida joined INSEAD's Alumni Affairs and Development team in 2004 and has served the school in a variety of roles including annual and major gift fundraising. In her current role, Ida has overhauled the school's corporate giving programme to create "The INSEAD Partnership" whereby organisations partner with the school as sponsors, recruiters and by underwriting research initiatives. Ida oversees a team tasked with raising funds from organisations in support of the school's mission.

With a background in communications and business development, Ida's earlier career included projects with CCS Fundraising at Amnesty Ireland and Habitat for Humanity, and solid commercial experience at Siemens Ltd and the independent television sector in Ireland. Ida holds a post-graduate diploma in Financial Management from the ACCA, an MA degree from Dublin City University and a BA degree from University College Dublin.

Heather Thomas, Development Director, Brighton Dome and Festival

Heather has worked as an arts fundraiser on both sides of the Atlantic for the past decade, attaining a wealth of experience with individuals, trusts and foundations and the corporate sector. Prior to her current position, Heather spent the last three years at the Royal Academy of Arts in London after previous positions at Tate, Boston Ballet and Boston Lyric Opera.
