Kobara For 35 years, Kobara has been leading and managing innovative non-profit organizations, companies and technology startups, and actively involved in advancing social justice by increasing access to educational opportunities in Los Angeles. In 2007, Kobara received the City of Angels Award for his service on behalf of children and families. He was a Coro Fellow in Los Angeles and earned a bachelor's degree from UCLA, a master's degree in business administration from USC and a master's degree from Occidental College. |

Colin McCallum Colin McCallum is executive director, university advancement at the University of Salford. McCallum has more than 25 years of experience in leading higher education and cultural development and marketing. Recent roles include president of Glasgow Caledonian University Foundation and chief executive of leading international philanthropic consulting firm Grenzebach Glier + Associates in Europe. He remains a vice-president of the firm. Previously, McCallum served as: director, marketing and development, at the National Museums of Scotland; director, external affairs and development at the University of Strathclyde (running a programme which won Gold in the UK Professional Fundraising Awards for the best educational campaign); development officer, St Hilda's College, Oxford, and alumni relations officer at the University of Edinburgh. |

Gunilla Bergstrand director of annual giving Linköping Universitet Gunilla Bergstrand is one of the pioneers of alumni relations in Sweden. She was recruited to Linköping University in 1998 to build an alumni relations programme from scratch. In 2008, she left the position as alumni director to become the first Swedish annual fund director with responsibility for starting and developing the annual giving programme for Linköping University. |

Amir Pasic Pasic came to CASE from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where he served as associate dean for development and strategic planning. At SAIS, he was responsible for fundraising, alumni relations, strategic planning and branding initiatives for campuses in Washington, Bologna and Nanjing. Prior to his work at SAIS, he was deputy vice president for advancement at George Washington University (GWU), where his responsibilities included evaluating and expanding the advancement office's international efforts. At GWU, he also served as interim head of advancement data services and executive director of corporate and foundation relations. Pasic's previous positions include serving as foundation specialist at the Library of Congress and deputy director for the world security project at the Rockefeller Brothers fund. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Yale, a master's in international relations from SAIS, and a doctorate in political science from University of Pennsylvania. He also attended American schools in Iran and Austria and is conversant in five languages. Pasic was a CASE member for 10 years prior to joining the staff. |

John Lippincott President Council for Advancement and Support of Education CASE president since 2004, John Lippincott heads one of the world's largest associations of educational institutions. Before joining CASE in 1999 as vice president for communications and marketing, he was associate vice chancellor for advancement at the 13-campus University System of Maryland and held public relations posts at the National Endowment for the Humanities and Ithaca College. |
