Katie McKeogh

Katie McKeogh joined the University of Bristol in 2005 and has seven years experience of successfully raising major gifts from individuals. She is well practised in leading non-donors through a full cycle of cultivation to become major donors. McKeogh currently leads the major gifts function of the Bristol fundraising team and outside of work she is a trustee for a local arts charity. Prior to joining the University of Bristol McKeogh worked as a teacher and Youth Theatre writer/director.

Richard Norman

Richard Norman's fundraising career began as a student telethon caller, before moving to an annual giving consultancy. He joined the University of Reading as a major gifts fundraiser, and led the major gifts team between 2009 and 2012. He has recently moved into a principal gifts role, focusing on the University's highest value solicitations, in preparation for the launch of Reading's first major fundraising campaign.

Cath Bees, a graduate of Cardiff University, joined Bristol University in 2006. Since then, she has worked on both major gifts and leadership giving teams, making asks from current and prospective donors. Previous experience includes 15 years in sales and marketing, both in the UK and overseas.

Lottie Donovan

Lottie Donovan's fundraising experience began in 1998, at Exeter University, when she was elected Student Union RAG chair. After pursuing a career in marketing and events in the corporate sector and as a freelancer, Donovan returned to fundraising in 2008 as a face-to-face fundraiser for Bristol University. She has extensive experience in making regular asks of prospective and existing donors.

Greg Spencer
Senior Leadership Giving Manager

Greg Spencer's fundraising career began as a Caller and Telethon Supervisor whilst studying for a degree in Politics at Bristol University. After graduating, he worked as a Campaign Manager for Buffalo Fundraising Consultants, before returning to his alma mater as an Annual Giving Manager in 2007. He now leads the Leadership Giving Fundraising Team at Bristol.
