Nick Blinco, Director of Development & Alumni Relations ,University of Birmingham

Nick Blinco is Director of Development & Alumni Relations at the University of Birmingham, where he coordinates an extremely-talented and relentlessly-positive team of 25. Together they have raised more than £30 million since the office was established with 10 staff in 2001.

Formerly an anthropologist, Nick began his Development career at Mansfield College, Oxford, in 1997, where he established the £10m "Access to Excellence" campaign that championed access to Oxford University for those from unconventional academic backgrounds.

Tania Jane Rawlinson, Director of Campaigns and Alumni Relations, University of Bristol

Tania Jane Rawlinson has been Director of Campaigns and Alumni Relations at the University of Bristol since 2003. In 2009 Bristol launched a £100m Centenary Campaign, of which £45m is now pledged or committed. American by birth, TJ's fundraising career began in 1991 with a part-time role in Lincoln College Oxford's development office. She then worked as a fundraiser for the University at Albany, SUNY, USA and then the English National Opera. In 1998 she became Development Director at University College Oxford, and ran a successful £15m campaign over five years. She has acted as a consultant for several Oxford colleges and private schools. TJ is a member of the Ross Group.

Shaun Horan,  Director of Development & External Affairs, University of Reading

Shaun Horan began his career as a barrister but left law for the voluntary sector, concentrating on the developing world. In 2004 Shaun accepted a post at the University of Reading to establish a fundraising department. As Director of Development & External Affairs Shaun now leads an integrated team comprising Fundraising, Alumni Relations, Communications and Marketing.
