Show Me How to Give! CASE ASAP Gives Back at the 37th Annual Network Convention

Book Collection Drive to Benefit Kansas City Schools

One stitch that binds each organization in attendance at the 2010 CASE ASAP Convention is a dedication to service. An important part of leadership is the ability to recognize ways in which we can improve the lives of other people, and taking action on those recognitions. In acknowledgment of this while thanking our host city for its hospitality, the 2010 CASE ASAP Network Convention will be participating in a book drive to benefit Kansas City public schools.

Participate by bringing books to the convention. Acceptable books are those which are in new or nearly new condition, and are appropriate for K-12 students. Books may vary considerably, from fiction, to non-fiction, or even reference (A.C.T. prep, S.A.T. prep, etc.) books. Prizes will be given out for those schools that bring the most books.

It's easy to participate! Purchase new books or browse your collection and bring your nearly new books that you are willing to part with. Pack them in your suitcase or have your adviser ship your organization's collective donation to the hotel. Advisers please ship books to arrive to the Westin to your attention no earlier than three days before the convention to:

The Westin Crown Center
One East Pershing Road
Kansas City, MO 64108
Attention: Your Name/Arrival Date

Thank you for your contribution in this time honored convention tradition. For questions please contact Michael Olsen, community service project coordinator, at molsen@emporia.edu.
