Eric Javier is a corporate vice president and managing director with CCS, one of the most comprehensive and widely recommended fundraising consulting and management firms in the world. For more than a decade he has planned, directed and supervised campaigns for educational, religious, social service and cultural organizations.
Javier has extensive experience conducting feasibility and planning studies, development assessments, building campaigns, endowment campaigns and annual campaigns. He has helped institutions strategize and solicit unprecedented major gifts, develop prospect management systems, craft strategic plans, recruit board and campaign leadership, and train board members, volunteers and staff. At CCS Javier has designed and facilitated numerous training courses for directing staff on major gift solicitation, strategy, and case statement and proposal development.
He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross.
Debra Pemstein
Vice President for Development and Alumni/ae Affairs
Bard College
Debra Pemstein has served as the vice president for development and alumni/ae affairs at Bard College since 1998. She works with the president and board of trustees of the liberal arts college to raise annual, endowment, capital and special project funds. In the past eleven years the college has raised more than $500 million including capital funds for the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, the Reem and Kayden Center for Science and Computation, the Hessel Museum of Art and seven dorms. The college's endowment has grown from less than $100 million to more than $200 million and the budget has been balanced every year.
Prior to Bard Pemstein served as the director of development for the Paul Taylor Dance Company, as the director of major gifts and planned giving at New York City Ballet and held senior development positions with the New York Philharmonic.
She is a graduate of George Washington University and holds a CFRE certification.
