Patricia Annino, a nationally recognized authority and author on estate planning and issues related to women and money, will share best practices in discussing estate planning with women, whether through group presentations or individual conversations. Learn what the donor tells her attorney about the gift after you leave the room and hear the unique keys to successfully working with the female donor.

"Unfortunately, the topic of women and philanthropy is too often seen as something only our female colleagues should find interesting. Yet women control a majority of the assets, dominate most white-collar professions and now receive 60% of college diplomas. We must study women's attitudes towards philanthropy because our fundraising agendas are increasingly shaped by women donors. Anyone who clings to the old boys theory of fundraising should retire now because you are living in the past."

Bruce W. Flessner, Principal, Bentz Whaley Flessner

Veteran fundraiser Trish Jackson, will share her vast experience working with women donors and their estate planning issues and elicit from Annino advice for managing the conversations and challenges.
