Ball State University

Stephen Jendraszak plays a key role in the authorship and enforcement of university communications policies, including a social media policy that has generated significant interest among higher education institutions and trade publications-most notably Inside Higher Ed-because it is among the first of its kind in the industry.

He previously served Ball State as a communications manager. In that role, he co-led a cross-functional communications and marketing team in launching and managing Ball State's institutional social media presence, which accumulated the largest Facebook audience in the university's athletic conference, and consulting campus clients on their social media efforts.

Gail WernerGail Werner
Media relations manager, university marketing and communications
Ball State University

Gail Werner oversees the university's internal email messaging service, known as the Communications Center, and has played a lead role in the development and implementation of the university's social media policy. Additionally, she manages Ball State's official presence on Facebook and Twitter.
