Part I Part 2 Part 3 |
What can you do in a one- or two-person shop with less than a $250 budget to run a robust and brief annual fund appeal? Learn how the Los Rios Community College District mobilized a group of volunteers to conduct a successful ($40,000 in two weeks) and fun annual fund campaign blitz.
For example, a team of 12 volunteers that included college faculty in business and marketing, a bookstore manager, an instructional dean and a high-school outreach coordinator solicited corporate gifts for Los Rios' annual fund.
Participants will receive a copy of the Los Rios tool kit for volunteer annual fund appeals that contains agendas, job descriptions, scripts, etc.-everything you will need to run a successful volunteer appeal at a two- or four-year institution with limited staff and resources.
