To enhance my knowledge of the development sector with the aid of highly-skilled professionals in the field.

What are you hoping to achieve from your year on the scheme?
I hope to gain a detailed understanding of what it takes to succeed in a development office and a greater knowledge of the similarities and differences between the higher education and museum and arts sectors.

What are you career ambitions?
I have previously worked as an intern within the NY office of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and I would be intrigued to explore how development offices work in different parts of the world, especially in developing countries that are not traditionally philanthropic. Or ones with nice beaches.

What are you hobbies/activities outside of study/work?
As well as playing football (badly) I am a coach of a youth team who I hope to win some trophies with this season.
