Steve Silver's Beach Blanket Babylon, the nation's longest running musical revue, is packed with hilarious spoofs of pop culture, spectacular costumes, outrageously gigantic hats, and one show-stopping number after another. Over 13,000 performances have been seen by more than 5 million people in the festive, nightclub atmosphere of its 389-seat home at Club Fugazi, in the heart of San Francisco's North Beach district.
Playing to sold-out crowds every night, Snow White continues her fast-paced musical journey around the world in search of her "Prince Charming" and encounters an ever-changing line-up of hilarious political and pop culture characters, including President and Mrs. Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Louis XIV, Lady Gaga and the cast of Glee.

Victorian Homes of San Francisco Walking Tour

This term is used for the Victorian or Edwardian houses and buildings painted in three or more colors that embellish or enhance their architectural details. About 48,000 houses in the Victorian and Edwardian styles were built in San Francisco between 1849 and 1915 (with the change from Victorian to Edwardian occurring on the death of Queen Victoria in 1901), and many were painted in bright colors. Hard Time on Alcatraz

Today you will do "hard time" on infamous Alcatraz Island Federal Penitentiary. Board a ferryboat for the brief trip to Alcatraz. Here you will see the main cellblock, which once housed such notorious criminals as Al Capone and Robert "The Birdman" Stroud. As you walk the cold corridors, you will hear footsteps echoing, jail cell doors closing, keys rattling! When you are "freed" from Alcatraz and return to the mainland, take a short walk to Pier 39, San Francisco's number-one most-visited attraction.

Tour Departures
Pickup times and meeting locations will be detailed in your tour confirmation. Please plan to arrive at your tour meeting location 15 minutes prior to your tour departure.
Tour Cancellation Policy
Guests must requests refunds for cancellations before Tuesday, January 17, 2012. All cancellations must be made in writing. After Tuesday, January 17, 2012, there will be no refunds for guest cancellations.
There are NO REFUNDS for any guest cancellations for Beach Blanket Babylon or Hard Time on Alcatraz.
Each tour must have a minimum number of participants to operate. District Experience reserves the right to cancel any tour that does not meet the minimum registration requirements by Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Should a tour be cancelled for this reason, guests will be refunded for the cancelled tour.
