Report Data in this April 2010 report indicates that U.S. grantmaking foundations cut their giving by an estimated 8.4 percent in 2009 - the steepest decline since the Foundation Center began tracking the data in 1975. The report provides a first look at 2009 giving and directions for 2010 and 2011, as well as aggregated actual 2008 giving and asset figures for more than 75,000 U.S. grantmaking foundations. Snapshots for independent, corporate, and community foundations are included.
