The CASE Board of Trustees is the primary governing body for the organization. It sets policy, establishes and monitors the annual budget, oversees the organization's assets and ensures sound management of the association. The board is comprised of 30 voting members:
Eight district trustees
18 at-large trustees
In addition, the CASE president serves as a non-voting, ex officio member.
Trustees are elected by the membership in March of each year and traditionally serve three-year terms. Board officers serve two-year terms.
