CASE has selected its Jupiter Fellows for Spring 2012. Throughout the year, the eight undergraduate students will work with advancement staff at their institutions on projects in alumni relations, fundraising, communications or marketing.

Katrina Antone is a graduate student pursuing a master's of education in student affairs at the University of California, Los Angeles. She will work on outreach efforts for the Alumni Mentor Program and help advertise the alumni scholars program to prospective students applying to UCLA. |

Lindsay Cox is a senior majoring in business management with a minor in strategic communication at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa. She will work on a project to establish a student philanthropy program as a part of a campus-wide initiative to strengthen student ties and gift-giving to the institution. |

Dean Curran is a junior majoring in political science and journalism at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He will work in the university's Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations doing ongoing research for faculty members. He will also create a system for compiling and categorizing funding sources for various departments on campus. |

Brittany Hood is a senior at Georgia State University seeking a dual degree in computer information systems and managerial sciences. Brittany will be assisting with various alumni association projects, including the inaugural GSU Cares Service Day project. She will also assist with social media initiatives, as well as alumni association programs and events. |

Mitchell Holston, Jr. is a senior majoring in marketing with a minor in leadership at Auburn University. He will be working on projects dealing with student programming, special events and marketing for the Office of Alumni Affairs and Auburn Alumni Association. |

Lauren Pinckney attends North Carolina Central University in Durham, N.C. She is a junior from Charlotte, N.C., majoring in public health education with aspirations of working in health policy on Capitol Hill. She is president of the Pre-Alumni Club, a new organization focusing on student/alumni relations and student philanthropy. |

Brigette Quinn is a senior majoring in marketing at Loyola University Maryland. This spring she will work closely with the Student Philanthropy Council and the Office of Annual Giving in order to launch new programming initiatives and expand awareness of philanthropy among students. |

Maydeli Renteria Magaña is a fourth-year art history and business administration major at the University of California Riverside. Maydeli will work with the Student Relations Department at the alumni office to develop and execute UCR's first dance marathon in order to develop a philanthropic culture and tradition on campus, and will work to enhance the alumni association's membership drive at Grad Fair. |

The Clarence J. Jupiter Fellowship program provides opportunities for individuals of diverse backgrounds to work in the advancement field at higher education institutions across the United States.
